2020 Awards: winners

The winners of the 2020 Australian Romance Readers Awards were announced last night at a special online ceremony. We started the announcements off with our Members’ Choice awards:

• Favourite Australian-set romance 2020: the winner is The Lost Letters of Playfair Street by Michelle Montebello.
• Favourite Christmas or holiday romance 2020: the winner is All’s Fair in Love and Chocolate by Amy Andrews.
• Favourite small-town romance 2020: the winner is Asking for Trouble by Amy Andrews.

In the main categories the winners were:

• The Favourite Paranormal Romance for 2020 is Alpha Night by Nalini Singh.
• The Favourite Sci-Fi, Fantasy or Futuristic Romance 2020 is Blackbird Rising by Keri Arthur.
• The Favourite Historical Romance 2020 is Marry in Scarlet by Anne Gracie.
• The Favourite Contemporary Romance 2020 is The Lost Letters of Playfair Street by Michelle Montebello.
• The Favourite Short or Category Romance 2020 is Love Song by Kylie Scott.
• The Favourite Romantic Suspense 2020 is Charlotte Pass by Lee Christine.
• The Favourite Continuing Romance Series 2020 Credence, Colorado series by Amy Andrews.
• The Favourite Debut Romance Author of 2020 is Anna Foxkirk.
• The Favourite Australian Romance Author 2020 is Amy Andrews.
