Author spotlight: Kylie Scott

28 September 2012

Kylie Scott is the author of two post-zombie-apocalypse erotic romances. They’re published by Momentum/Pan Macmillan, and no, the undead don’t do it. Kylie Scott lives in south-east Queensland.

Welcome Kylie to our spotlight …

Have you attended on of ARRA events before?

No, I haven’t been to an ARRA function before. I’m very excited about attending one in my home town.

What are you most looking forward to at ARRC2013?

Everything. Attending a conference geared towards romance readers sounds fantastic!

Tell us about your latest book…

Flesh is my M/F/M erotic romance released 1 October, but available now for pre-order here. Eight weeks ago a plague hit, turning almost everyone into mindless, hungry, homicidal maniacs. Ali, Daniel and Finn band together with plans to escape the city and head west. Lust, love and trust all come under fire as the three battle to survive, hunted through the suburban wastelands.

What do you have coming up next?

My short story ‘Room with a View’ is a M/F erotic romance, due for release 1 November, also through Momentum. It’s set in the same post-zombie-apocalypse world but features new characters. Natalie has watched as the zombie plague devastated civilsation. Stuck four floors up and surrounded on all sides, only Angus, throwing her supplies from the pool area below, has kept her alive.  But now Angus is gone, having abandoned her. Or has he?

If erotic romances with zombies are your thing, keep an eye out for Kylie’s books:

If you are an ARRA member or registered for ARRC2013, check out the member’s loop or ARRC Lounge loop for details of our Author Spotlight competition.

Rather glad to hear the undead don’t do it. That would be a bit squicky!
