Nora Roberts

Since I was a pre-teen

What genres do you write?

I write paranormal/urban fantasy romance and romantic suspense/rockstar thriller-romance

What is your favourite part of creating a story?

Every moment in the moment I’m in it. When I’m writing a new story I love that. When I’m editing, I love that. When I’m working on a sticky problem and I’m tearing my hair out over it, I love that because I know how amazing it will be when I find the solution. I just love the whole process.

Tell us about your latest release:

The Devil Inside is the second book in the Storm Haven rockstar thriller-romance series. It follows on from the first book by focusing on Mel and Phil and what happens to them after the accident that happened at the end of the first book. Mel wakes up from her coma and can’t remember the last eight years of her life—including Phil and the baby they’ve had. In trying to get her memories back, things from her past that were hidden from her start to make themselves known and puts them all in danger. Despite the fact she can’t remember Phil and the band, she needs to learn to trust them so that they can uncover the secrets and survive.

What else are you working on at the moment?

I’m working on the third book in this series—Craig’s story—and I’m also working on the fifth book in the Gods Cursed series. I’ve also started putting out a new urban fantasy romance series in serialised form, called The Blood of the Seer. It’s a witch-vampire, enemies-to-lovers, fated-mates series with a chosen one narrative that I’m super excited to be putting out in this way.
