2021 Awards: winners

The winners of the 2021 Australian Romance Readers Awards were announced last night at our Awards Dinner. We started the announcements off with our Members’ Choice awards:

• Favourite Australian-set romance 2021: the winner is Snowy Mountains Daughter by Alissa Callen.
• Favourite romance anthology 2021: the winner is Sweet Treats—Chocolate by Toni D’Alia, Cordelia Fox, Arietta Richmond, Stephanie Ashton, Frances Dall’Alba, Caroline Deness, Louisa Duval, Amy Hutton, Kylie Jacobs, JA MacNally, Fiona M Marsden, Clare Miles, Valerie Miller, Georgia Moore, Kristin Silk.
• Favourite romance cover 2021: the winner is Archangel’s Light by Nalini Singh.

In the main categories the winners were:

• The Favourite Paranormal Romance for 2021 is Last Guard by Nalini Singh.
• The Favourite Sci-Fi, Fantasy or Futuristic Romance 2021 is Magic Misled by Keri Arthur.
• The Favourite Historical Romance 2021 is The Scoundrel’s Daughter by Anne Gracie.
• The Favourite Contemporary Romance 2021 is Must Love Christmas by Kelly Hunter.
• The Favourite Short or Category Romance 2021 is The Rhythm Method by Kylie Scott.
• The Favourite Romantic Suspense 2021 is A Good Day for Chardonnay by Darynda Jones.
• The Favourite Continuing Romance Series 2021 is Lizzie Grace by Keri Arthur.
• The Favourite Debut Romance Author of 2021 is Paula J Beavan.
• The Favourite Australian Romance Author 2021 is Anne Gracie.
