ARRA newsletter #9

15 April 2010

Hi all

We have a couple of exciting announcements today.

But first, the April newsletter is now available. This month Kate takes a look at steampunk, we have more reader reviews, a bumper Roundup from Tez, Susan Grant and Amy Andrews drop by to answer our questions, plus a new Web Watch column. All members should have received the download link in their email, or you can access the newsletter from the members-only area of our website.

Now for our news!

Our first piece of news is that registration for the Awards Dinner has opened today. We are very excited to announce that Nalini Singh will be a special guest speaker at the dinner. More details are available on the awards page of our website, or page 2 of the newsletter. The registration form is available for download from here: http://www.box.net/shared/y04c70zvul. Both members and non-members are welcome to attend (members even get a discount). Numbers are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. A big thank you to all our sponsors, in particular our event sponsors (Avon Romance and Booktopia), for allowing us to keep the costs so low for the dinner. Keep you eye on the blog for a list of authors who will be attending the dinner.

And we are absolutely thrilled to announce that the book-signing event we have been working on so hard will be going ahead. It will be held in conjunction with the RWA conference from 4.00 pm to 6.30 pm on Friday 13 August at the Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach in Sydney. We already have authors signing up!
