All the goodies at the Book-signing Event

31 July 2010

In August 2010, in conjunction with the annual Romance Writers of Australia national conference, ARRA are hosting a book-signing featuring 42 of Australia’s favourite romance authors, plus three international guests—Nalini Singh, Vicki Lewis Thompson and Debra Dixon. You can find the full list of 45 authors here.

Here are few of the other reasons you should come along:

Anna Campbell will be giving away two copies of Captive of Sin.

Keri Arthur will be giving away a prize pack containing a cap, a mug and a couple of signed books—Circle of Fire, Circle of Desire, Circle of Death.

Cathryn Brunet will be providing a discount code for downloads from Carina Press.

Valerie Parv will be holding a competition to win a prize hamper containing copies of Heart and Craft, Code Name Prince, The Billionaire’s Baby Chase, A Reluctant Attraction/A Royal Romance, and a ‘Mr Right When You Need Him’ kit.

Michelle Douglas will be giving away a bundle from her backlist.

Paula Roe will be bringing some of her older titles to give away—and lollipops!

Denise Rossetti will be giving away a copy of Laced with Desire.

Annie West will be giving away a prize consisting of a $25 Amazon gift card and your choice of any two of her backlist titles. And she will have chocolates.

Lexxie Couper will be giving away a signed copy of Death, The Vamp and his Brother, as well as a DTVAHB t-shirt and coffee mug.

In addition, authors will be bringing along promotional items to give away, including bookmarks, magnets, pens, postcards, sample chapters.

Still not enough to convince you to attend? ARRA will also have books to give away as door prizes, including two Nalini Singh books. And Mills & Boon are sending along two boxes full of books to give away.

The book-signing will be held in the Terrace View Rooms, at the Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach, Sydney on Friday 13 August from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm. It will be open to everyone. Entry is free for ARRA members and delegates at the RWA conference. There will be a $5 entry fee for members of the general public.

Bookings are encouraged. All those who book for the event will also have the opportunity to order a copy of the souvenir booklet, which will include photos and information about all the attending authors. You can book right up to the event (but book before 3 August to secure a copy of the souvenir booklet). The registration form can be downloaded from here: http://www.box.net/shared/j2jtgjbsi5

We hope to see you all there!
