For fans of slow-burn romance and It Ends With Us — Colleen Hoover. The third book in the Love at Last series, but can be read as a standalone.

Katerina dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

The theme I wanted to explore for the Love at Last series was that of deep wounds. I wanted characters with personal challenges anyone would struggle to overcome in order to have a healthy romantic relationship. I wanted to find ways my characters could jump those hurdles. This is the case for The Last in Line. From ailing mental health, childhood trauma, a lost fortune; Freya and Max have so much to work through. Something I really enjoyed, was setting this series in my much beloved city of Melbourne, Australia—especially the live arts scene where I spent my entire twenties working as a performer. The unique characters I met and the different social circles I skirted, have left their marks all over this series. I hope readers will enjoy the journey The Last in Line will take them on.

You can find out more about this book at Katerina’s website or buy it from here.

All ARRA members who leave a comment on this post will go in the draw to win a copy of the first book in this series, The Last Heartbeat, along with a hand painted bookmark by the author. The giveaway will close on 30 January 2022.
