Release day: Singapore Trap

30 April 2021

Today is the official release of Singapore Trap by Susanne Bellamy (High Stakes #2) (ebook, self-published). Here’s the blurb:

Cover Image of Singapore Trap by Susanne BellamyIn the exotic city of Singapore, Paul Rimmer’s first meeting with Lin Tan, his counterpart in the Singapore Bureau, bodes ill for the joint mission to bring down John Chan, the head of a new drug cartel.

Assigned to lead a joint operation with Lin, Paul questions the inclusion of this tiny and attractive operative. This is his opportunity to redeem his previous failure in bringing Chan down, and he will not let his operation be hindered by a rookie.

Lin’s oath of justice is fed by revenge. Her sister was murdered by John Chan and her pursuit of Chan is deadly. Although attraction flares between them, Paul doesn’t yet know about her sister and suspects Lin may be a double agent working for Chan.

As Paul and Lin assemble an unusual team and zero in on the drug lord, will they succeed in the mission, or will revenge bring them down?

Susanne dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

Relationships, families, and characters struggling against the challenges life throws at them are elements you’ve come to expect in my series. Add in people smuggling, and a resurgent drug cartel set in the exotic city of Singapore and the action is swift and deadly. The intensity that both grief and danger bring to personal interactions raises the stakes as Paul and Lin race to find the missing daughter of a highly placed government Minister, and prevent further tragedies as girls and young women continue to disappear. Both desire justice for those already lost, but will giving in to revenge doom the operation?

You can find out more about this book at Susanne’s website or buy it from Amazon.
