Release day: Safe House

26 May 2020

Today is the official release of Safe House by Camille Taylor (Harbour Bay, book 11) (ebook, self-published). Here’s the blurb:

Sophie Harris has always been headstrong, a quality that had her leaving town on the back of a motorcycle.

Now she returns to her childhood home, tail tucked between her legs, with a failed marriage behind her and a young son.

This time she plans to make it work. Including the cute cop she’d dissed on their one disastrous date all those years ago.

Sophie has no idea the trouble her ex is in and that it will lead dangerous men to her door.

When the power goes out, leaving Sophie and her son alone in the dark, she must fight to keep her son safe, no matter the cost.

The house she’d seen as her safe haven, turns into her prison and could very well be her grave.

Only Sophie’s stubbornness and tenacity keep her alive, as she plays a deadly game of hide and seek…

… Where one wrong move could be her last.

Camille dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

A rebellious teen, Sophie Harris couldn’t wait to watch Harbour Bay disappear in the rear-view window. Now she is returning to her childhood home, divorced with a young son, picking up the pieces of her shattered life. Her refuge is ruined when a group of men break into her safe haven and she must fight to keep herself and her son safe. Sophie must trust her instincts and go down fighting, her only ally, a man she once thought of as a boring stooge. A night of terror may be the push she needs to realise what has been in front of her the whole time and give her the strength to reach out and take it.
