A star witness in his team mate’s court-martial, Chase has no choice but to disappear.

On his way to his brother’s home in Harbour Bay, Chase is run off the road, assumed dead.

Rose Doyle has no idea the risk to her heart when she agrees to keep Chase safe.

Injured, he has no choice but to lean on her. Can she make him understand to her, he’s not expendable but the only man who can make her whole?

Chase can’t help but be attracted to the beautiful woman who wants to help him, but his career isn’t one he’d expose her to.

Rose understands Chase’s reservations and the fear he has of bringing danger to her door. But Rose has waited too long to feel this way and will fight him every stubborn step of way.

Chase must make a decision. The only life he knows, or the woman he possibly loves.

Camille dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

Rose Doyle finally gets her own story! One of my favourite characters of the series, shy and reserved Rose, takes on an career solider who for years has jumped feet first into the worst conditions on earth, believing himself expendable. When Chase, a lead witness in a former team mate’s court martial, is injured just outside of town, Rose offers to take care of him. Rose, with her sweet personality goes head to head with stubborn Chase, to make him realise he isn’t expendable and deserves more … including her. A bite-sized romance filled with sizzling scenes, action and suspense.
