Aussie Molly Armstrong wakes up in a hospital in Rome, with no memory. Oh, and she’s pregnant. She is scared (rightly so) and a little mistrustful when a handsome Italian man walks in, claiming to be her husband.

Pietro Agosti has been searching for Molly ever since she ran out on him after their quarrel when she admitted to accidentally falling pregnant. Past experience had him laying accusations at her feet that were unfounded, but before he could fix that she’d run, and now has lost her memory. This is Pietro’s second chance to make things right, but will he be able to succeed?

This is the first amnesia romance I’ve ever read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters are both excellent, their emotions so real on the page and as a reader I was on tenterhooks waiting for the proverbial penny to drop. Whilst Molly was falling in love with Pietro, again, we the reader just knew that it was all going to go horribly pear-shaped once her memory returned. That sense of not knowing how he could possibly fix the situation once it did return had me flying through this book.

This is an intensely emotional romance, that was truly beautiful to read. The ending was perfect in my opinion and I simply couldn’t put it down. Add in the beautiful settings of Rome, Tuscany and Australia and you’ve got yourself a fantastic read.
