2019 Awards: winners

The winners of the 2019 Australian Romance Readers Awards were announced last night at our Awards Dinner in Sydney. We started the announcements off with our Members’ Choice awards:

• Favourite small-town romance 2019: the winner was The Trouble with Christmas by Amy Andrews.
• Favourite couple in a 2019 romance: the winner was Memory and Alexei in Wolf Rain by Nalini Singh.
• Favourite 2019 romance cover: the winner was Repeat by Kylie Scott.

In the main categories the winners were:

• The Favourite Paranormal Romance for 2019 is Wolf Rain by Nalini Singh.
• The Favourite Sci-Fi, Fantasy or Futuristic Romance 2019 is Wicked Wings by Keri Arthur.
• The Favourite Historical Romance 2019 is Marry in Secret by Anne Gracie.
• The Favourite Contemporary Romance 2019 is Lies by Kylie Scott. This award was sponsored by Allen & Unwin.
• The Favourite Short or Category Romance 2019 is Loving Lucas by Jayne Kingsley.
• The Favourite Romantic Suspense 2019 is Shadows Over Wongan Creek by Juanita Kees.
• The Favourite Continuing Romance Series 2019 is the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones.
• The Favourite Debut Romance Author of 2019 is Samantha Marshall. This award was sponsored by Booktopia.
• The Favourite Australian Romance Author 2019 is Kylie Scott. This award was sponsored by Booktopia.
