Release day: Revelations of a Secret Princess

1 March 2020

Today is the official release of Revelations of a Secret Princess by Annie West (ebook and paperback, Harlequin Presents). Here’s the blurb:

A princess in disguise…

To find her precious daughter, stolen from her at birth, Princess Carolina will do anything. Including masquerading as a nanny! Jake Maynard, her daughter’s uncle, is all that’s standing in the way of the reunion Caro has yearned for. If only her body got the message he’s the enemy…

Caro knows this powerful billionaire won’t give up the only family he has left. Yet after years of emotional numbness, Jake is reawakening her! He shows Caro a life filled with passion, not protocol, but what will happen when Jake discovers her true identity?

Annie dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

I adored writing this book. I’d been thinking about a story where there’s a tug of love over a child, between two people who strongly believe they’re the best person to care for it. My original idea was to have Jake, my hero, as an adoptive uncle and Caro as an aunt. But almost straight away, I realised how much stronger the emotions would be if Caro was looking for her own child, taken away from her at birth. No wonder she’ll go to any lengths, including masquerading as someone else, to get to see her daughter. She’s afraid Jake, with his enormous wealth and his attachment to the little girl, will prevent her reunion with Ariane and use power to fight a protracted custody battle. But Caro’s scheme to make contact with Ariane by becoming her nanny throws up all sorts of complications. Not least the sizzling attraction between her and her new boss. Suddenly her impulsive action has all sorts of consequences. If you’re after passion, sexual tension and lots of emotion, with a royal twist as well, this is one for you! I hope you enjoy it.

You can find out more about this book at Annie’s website or buy it from Amazon.
