Fleur is a motor cross enthusiast but since she was involved in an accident where a man was made a paraplegic, she refuses to race but enjoys the track when no one else is on it. She is a nurse in the local hospital and has her best friends.

Will Travers is the new park ranger. He is a shy man and usually has difficulty making new friends. He has come to live in the town and has come across a rare orchid. It is also near here that he finds containers that used to hold chemicals for drug making.

Then the attacks on Fleur start. It is just little things at first like poisoning her flowers, her pride and joy, giving her aspirin that could kill her as she has an allergic reaction to aspirin, but Will is there to help. Will also finds that he is attracted to Fleur and asks her on a date.

As the attacks continue, Will supports Fleur but at the same time feels that he is suspected of the attacks. The culprit is from an unexpected source.

I am really enjoying this series by Ms Boston. The suspense does not overshadow the romance and I want to read to the end. I look forward to reading the remaining two books in this series.
