Release day: Promise Me Forever

14 February 2020

Today is the official release of Promise Me Forever by Juanita Kees (Bindarra Creek A Town Reborn) (ebook and paperback, self-published). Here’s the blurb:

News correspondent, Jack Hughes, is sent to sleepy Bindarra Creek to escape the spotlight after a scandalous fake video goes viral. He’s in the fight of his life to save his reputation. In a town only determination has kept from dying, the last thing Jack is looking for is love.
The Bindarra Creek Museum is Meg Moonie’s life. But with her granny dead, a murder suspect on the run and the police asking questions, she struggles to keep the museum and Mary Moonie’s dream alive. Jack is a handsome distraction, but Meg has been hurt by a roving reporter before. Men who couldn’t put down roots never promised forever. If only he wasn’t so easy to fall in love with…

Juanita dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

Jack Hughes strode into my mind the same way he strides up the path of the Bindarra Creek Museum—with purpose and a distinct dislike of small towns. He arrives with attitude and a desire to get in and out as soon as he can, because nothing happens in small towns, right? Well, nothing could have prepared him for the people of Bindarra Creek and, in particular, a gorgeous outback fairy named Meg Moonie. I wrote this story to honour and thank the authors in this series and, in particular, Suzanne (SE) Gilchrist for creating the wonderful town of Bindarra Creek, a place we’d all love to live. A town where community is everything, where friendships are formed and love blossoms. No matter how hard life gets, there is always hope and determination to keep the community spirit alive. In writing this series, we created an external community and formed bonds of friendship in real life that grew beyond writing a series. I will always treasure those friendships and I hope Promise Me Forever reflects the love I have for Bindarra Creek.
