Release day: Temptation

28 January 2020

Today is the official release of Temptation by Camille Taylor (Harbour Bay, book 7) (ebook, self-published). Here’s the blurb:

Twenty years ago, Caitlyn Buchanan made headlines, one third of a group called the Teen Bonnies.

Six years later, a new group is emulating the Teen Bonnies, only this time, the group are ruthless and the police desperate to catch the criminals.

When one of the group is injured in the latest robbery. They will be looking to recruit.

Detective Alec Harris has the perfect plan.

Who better to take the place of the imposter Teen Bonnie than an original? The woman he’d put behind bars.

Caitlyn would do anything to taste freedom again. Even go down a path that could be dangerous.

Only she‘s not sure if the danger is to her life, or Alec’s hold on her heart.

As the situation turns deadly, Alec needs to consider just how far he’s willing to go—and if he’ll risk Caitlyn’s life to close the case.

Camille dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

Temptation is a story that has been with me for years. A cops-and-robbers romance. Originally written for a school project, it’s had many revisions since and I absolutely love the finished result. Alec and Caitlyn have appeared as secondary characters in the earlier Harbour Bay books and now have their own feature story set in the late eighties/early nineties. A former bank robber, Caitlyn is enlisted to help the police capture the new generation of criminals. Alec is the cop that arrested her and they must work together to make the town safe again. What they don’t count on is falling for one another. Alec struggles with the fear for Caitlyn as she gets pulled deeper into the dark underbelly of crime and his desire, worrying that any weakness to her could end his promising career.

You can find out more about this book at Camille’s website or buy it from Amazon.
