Release day: Snowbound with His Forbidden Innocent

1 December 2019

Today is the official release of Snowbound with His Forbidden Innocent by Susan Stephens (ebook and paperback, Harlequin Presents). Here’s the blurb:

There’s nowhere to hide from their chemistry…

Stacey has worked hard to become a successful businesswoman. She won’t let anyone—even frustratingly sexy tycoon Lucas Da Silva—remind her of the overlooked girl she once was.

Carrying responsibility for his worldwide company and siblings, Lucas is always in control. Especially of himself. But snowbound with Stacey, his best friend’s untouched—and very off-limits!—sister, he discovers temptation like no other. And as their mutual attraction grows hotter than the fire in his luxurious mountain chalet, Lucas has never been so close to breaking the rules…

Susan dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

I want a Christmas book to be warm and engrossing, something to cosy up with as the nights drawn in, so when this phrase sang in my head I knew I had my story: ‘All she’d ever wanted, was to care for people and make them happy.’ How will my heroine Stacey accomplish that dream, and who might stand in her way? I knew she’d be strong, because Stacey has lived through loss and scorn, yet has risen to the top of her chosen career. My heroes are always hard, driven men, unwilling to listen to advice, particularly when that advice comes from their best friend’s kid sister, so when this happens to Lucas Da Silva he finds it impossible to believe that ‘little’ Stacey is now the official organiser for his lavish annual party. Fighting off a growing attraction for the one woman off-limits to Lucas, he doesn’t expect Stacey have a will as strong as his, or her own ideas about a man’s place in her world. Stacey believes she doesn’t need a man and this dovetails neatly with her fear of intimacy, but Lucas has other ideas, and is determined to prove her wrong.

You can find out more about this book at Susan’s website or buy it from Amazon.
