Release day: Her Christmas Kisses

25 November 2019

Today is the official release of Her Christmas Kisses by Susanne Bellamy (Rainbow Cove Christmas, book 2) (ebook, Harlequin Escape). Here’s the blurb:

One gourmet party. Four potential couples. The taste of love?

Devastated by her parents’ divorce and the impending sale of the family restaurant, Flick Ardmore is determined to find the money to buy the restaurant herself. She doesn’t expect to find herself stranded in Rainbow Cove with no car, no work, and no prospect of success.

Xander McIntyre, owner of the luxury Rainbow Cove Resort, is a workaholic developer with a looming deadline hindered by the arrival of his young special needs sister, Jenny.

When Flick connects with Jenny, it seems like the perfect solution to both their problems – if only Flick and Xander can ignore the undeniable spark between them. Or will their building attraction cause more problems than it solves?

Susanne dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

Her Christmas Kisses came into being after a comment about orphans’ Christmas parties. Who would be invited to attend such a gathering? Why were these people alone at Christmas? Many people are alone at Christmas for reasons of work, tyranny of distance, family breakdown or loss of family members, and countless other situations that prevent them sharing this special time of year with family. Christophe, the chef/owner of Chez Christophe, a top-class restaurant within the Rainbow Cove Resort, can’t return to France this year to be with his family, and so organises an orphans’ Christmas luncheon at his home. His good friend and developer of the revitalised resort, Xander McIntyre, is on the guest list, along with Christophe’s new pastry chef, Flick Ardmore. Xander can’t get home because his development is in its final stage, and Flick’s parents are divorcing and her home and business are on the market. What is there to return to? An orphans’ Christmas party might just be the thing to bring lost souls together and lead to some happy-ever-afters!
