Annie dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

It occurred to me I’d never written a story about a runaway bride, even though I’d always loved the idea. To do something so dramatic as to leave your husband on your wedding day—well, it conjures all sorts of questions, doesn’t it? About who and why and then what? In the beginning all I had was the image of a bride in layers of antique lace skedaddling and leaving a firm-jawed hero behind. Of course my proud, flummoxed hero couldn’t imagine why anyone would desert him. As soon as I had those two images in my head I knew I had to find out who this couple were and what had torn them apart. And, of course, what happens when they reunite. As I was pondering all that I was lucky enough to spend a week on the lovely Greek island of Corfu. That became the inspiration for my setting, with quite a few of the scenes in Wedding Night Reunion in Greece located in places I’d enjoyed being myself. The result was one of the most vivid, dramatic, emotional stories I’ve written, complete with a marriage of convenience and a reunion that doesn’t go quite the way either sexy Christo or determined Emma expect. I hope you enjoy this island escape as much as I did! (If you’re curious to see some of the locations, my April reader newsletter had location photos and information. If you want to see it, email me at and I’ll send you a copy).
