Release day: Lion Dancing for Love

27 March 2019

Today is the official release of Lion Dancing for Love by Laura Boon (Deerbourne Inn series) (ebook, Wild Rose Press). Here’s the blurb:

Licking her wounds after a bad relationship, San Diego accountant Caitlyn Summers travels to Willow Springs to help her friend gear up for the annual Maple Sugar Ball. She isn’t planning on staying long, but one encounter with the delicious Corey Duncan has her re-evaluating her plans.

Corey swore off love when his wife Annie died from breast cancer. Caitlyn is too young, too citified, and vibrates with a passion and energy that will upend the safe, comfortable rhythm of his life. Corey has to choose between playing it safe and taking a risk on love. Caitlyn needs to find the patience to let Corey lead. If not, the Maple Sugar Ball might end in a sticky mess, instead of a slow dance with the man who has captured her heart.

Will their fire burn hot enough to erase doubts and past hurts?

Laura dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

I’ve always been intrigued by the change that can be sparked by trying something new and being willing to put yourself ‘out there’, particularly for ‘older’ people. Caitlyn is in her mid-thirties and Corey is almost a decade older than her. Society often reserves the right to both romance and risk for younger people. That’s nonsense. It’s just that as we get older, we’re more aware of what can go wrong, so it takes greater courage to take a risk. Lion Dancing for Love is a story of opposites attracting and how the reward is worth the risk.

You can find out more about this book at Laura’s website or buy it from Amazon.

All ARRA members who leave a comment on this post will go in the draw to win one of two copies of the ebook. (The giveaway is now closed. The winner was Sandra D.)

I love romances between more mature characters. Why should the kids have all the fun? Wishing good luck and great sales for Lion Dancing for Love.
