He needs to lighten up!

As a reader, I love a recalcitrant hero who is coerced into becoming a better man courtesy of a strong-willed heroine. So it’s no surprise I created my own grumpy hero in desperate need of lightening up in my latest Harlequin Dare release, Stripped.

Hart Rochester could be my most reluctant hero yet … in 68 books!

In Stripped, he’s left no choice but to become CEO of the Rochester hotel empire. His first stop? The gorgeous Gem Island in the Whitsundays, the flagship hotel of his grandfather’s legacy.

Daisy Adler, the PR whiz he hires, is exactly what he needs, even if it takes him a while to catch on. When the two butt heads, it’s sun, surf and sex that provide them with the perfect distraction.

However, in letting Daisy into his life, Hart is stripped bare, figuratively and literally. I loved creating a hero willing to face his inner vulnerabilities and confront his darkest fears. There’s something infinitely sexy about a guy who lets down his guard and puts his trust in the woman he loves.

I’m partial to island life myself and it’s been way too long since I’ve had a holiday on one!

So let’s all live vicariously for a moment … if you could choose an island to magically transport to right now, where would it be?

She wasn’t into bad boys

Until she met him…

Getting naked with reclusive billionaire Hart Rochester isn’t part of Daisy Adler’s PR campaign. She’s on the stunning Whitsunday Islands to save his reputation, but after clashing with the infuriating, sexy CEO a fling is the perfect way to burn off energy after-hours… As they strip each other bare their desire only rages hotter—but can a man with such a tortured soul ever be the partner she needs beyond the bedroom?

Stripped is out now. Under His Skin releases March, and One Wicked Week in June.
