A Romantic Rendezvous with Grace Burrowes and Jane Porter

15 May 2018

We are very pleased to announce that ARRA will be hosting two special events in August, featuring bestselling authors Grace Burrowes and Jane Porter.

The first event will be held on Tuesday 14 August at Golden Gate Hotel in South Melbourne, from 7.00 to 9.00 pm. This event will feature a reading salon with Grace Burrowes, along with special guests Anne Gracie, Keri Arthur and Beverley Eikli, followed by a Q&A and time for signing. Bookings are essential, and tickets will be limited, so book here now.

Grace Burrowes started writing romance novels as an antidote to empty nest, and soon found that the writing was an antidote to everything troublesome in life. She is the sixth out of seven children (four brothers explains a lot), and grew up in the rural surrounds of central Pennsylvania. Her day job has been lawyering for foster children in child welfare proceedings, a career notably devoid of happily ever afters. Romance novels have preserved her hope and optimism, and provided much needed relief from courtroom realities. She loves to hear from readers and can be reached through her website: graceburrowes.com

The second event will be held on Thursday 16 August at Customs House Library in Sydney, from 5.00 to 7.00 pm. This event will feature a meet and greet with Grace Burrowes and Jane Porter, followed by a Q&A with Grace, Jane and special guests Anne Gracie and Kelly Hunter, plus time for signing. Bookings are essential, and tickets will be limited, so book here now.

UPDATE 23/5: We are thrilled to say that Maisey Yates and Jackie Ashenden will also be attending this event!

Jane Porter is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, who holds an MA in Writing from the University of San Francisco and has written 50 novels since getting her first sale to Harlequin Presents in 2000. A six time RITA finalist, and RITA winner in July 2014 for Take Me, Cowboy, Jane is known for her passionate, powerful stories and relatable heroines. An advocate for writers, Jane founded Tule Publishing in 2013 to give romance and women’s fiction authors support and opportunities. Jane and Tule Publishing are both based in sunny San Clemente, CA.
