This week we are talking about…

Session 6B—Feminism vs romance fiction

Can feminism and romance coexist? Or is romance fiction anti-feminist or just feminist neutral? What kind of feminism works best with romance fiction? Or is it just about discussing select feminist social issues? PhD candidate Donna Maree Hanson will lead this panel in a discussion of feminist issues that romances can and have covered. The panel will also explore whether readers and writers identify with feminism or just select feminist issues.
