Session 1C—Speed dating

This is the second of our speed dating sessions. Just like regular speed dating, but without the cocktails and heartache … Meet some of your favourite authors, and discover new authors, in these one-on-one ‘dates’. Can you find a soulmate in just four minutes? Come along to one of our speed dating sessions and find out!

The line-up

1c-photosAlissa Callen is the author of ten small town and rural fiction novels and novellas. She is a USA Today bestselling author of the Wildflower Ranch, Outback Dust and Born in Boots books. Alissa lives on a small farm outside Dubbo, NSW.

Alli Sinclair is the author of books that combine travel and romance. Alli won ARRA Favourite New Romance Author in 2014 and her debut novel, Luna Tango, won Ausrom Today’s Book of the Year. Under the Spanish Stars was released in 2016. Alli lives in Geelong, Victoria.

Darcy Delany is the author of The Modern Day Fairy Tale Series (I Don’t Date in December and The Go-Between) and Love Gone Wrong: Short Stories about love and all its debacles. Darcy writes stories with sassy heroines and the strong, smouldering men who love them. Darcy lives in Canberra, Australia. She makes a mean Sangria and is partial to car karaoke.

Diane Demetre is the author of three red-hot erotic romances. Her debut novel, Dancing Queen, book 1 in the Dance of Love series, was voted Luminosity Publishing Readers’ Choice Award for Best Book and Best Cover 2015. Tiny Dancer and Dance to a Gypsy Beat, books 2 and 3 in the series, were released in 2016. Diane lives on the glamourous Gold Coast in Queensland.

Elizabeth Squire is an historical romance author; Closer to Sin is her debut novel, a daring story of intrigue and passion, set in Napoleonic France and Georgian England. Elizabeth lives in Canberra in the ACT.

Imogene Nix is the author of over 25 romances, featuring science fiction and paranormal romance. Imogene lives in Biggenden, in regional Queensland.

Kandy Shepherd is an award-winning, multi-published author of contemporary romance. She has twice won the Australian Romance Readers Association award for Favorite Contemporary Romance. Kandy lives on a small farm in the Blue Mountains near Sydney, with her husband, daughter, and a menagerie of four-legged friends. Kandy believes in love-at-first-sight and real-life romance—they worked for her!

Keri Arthur has now written over 38 novels, including the New York Times bestselling Riley Jenson Guardian series. She’s received several nominations in the Best Contemporary Paranormal category of the Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Awards and has won RT’s Career Achievement Award for urban fantasy. She lives with her daughter in Melbourne, Australia.

Nicole Hurley-Moore has written three rural romances as well as several medieval fantasies. Country Roads is her latest book and is the first in the White Gum Creek series. Nicole lives in Castlemaine, a semi-rural town in Victoria and is a fan of happily ever afters.

TM Clark is the author of three contemporary African adventure/suspense stories. Her first book, My Brother-But-One, was nominated for a Queensland Literary Peoples Choice Award in 2014. TM Clark lives in beautiful Bribie Island, Queensland.
