Release day: To Love an Earl Twice
Today is the official release of To Love an Earl Twice by Cassandra L Shaw (book 1, Romance & Reincarnation novella series) (ebook, self-published). Here’s the blurb:
Can love once forsaken be reborn two centuries later?
Charlene feels compelled to start a new life in a village that causes the oddest sense of déjà vu.
On a visit to a nearby manor, she sees a portrait and becomes infatuated with the Earl of Townsend who died two centuries ago. When she bumps into a man who is the spitting image of the earl, her world spins into a mix of the past and the present.
All his life Jake has dreamed about a woman dressed in Regency period clothing, feeling even love and desire for her when he was nothing more than child. When he meets her living doppelgänger, he sees it as fate and pursues her.
But is the love they share from this life, or from another?
Cassandra dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:
I have always believed in reincarnation, so why not a love that expands more than a single life? In To Love an Earl Twice I’ve taken a contemporary romance and given it a Regency twist with the main characters remembering parts of a life from that period. And because I believe animals are part of the heart of a home there’s a dog, well two actually, but you’ll have to read the novella to understand that. I’ve also added some romantic symbolism that my editor picked up on, so I hope readers do as well.
