Release day: Dance to a Gypsy Beat

4 August 2016

Today is the official release of Dance to a Gypsy Beat by Diane Demetre (book 3, Dance of Love series) (ebook and print, Luminosity Publishing, UK). Here’s the blurb:

Dance to a Gypsy BeatLove… Life’s most passionate dance

Aiden Bishop, a successful young Australian lawyer, flees from unsavory clients by taking an extended holiday in sunny Spain. At twenty-seven-years-old, Ace as he’s known to his mates because of his dare-devil attitude and sporting enthusiasm, is used to traveling alone and living life to the fullest.

Happening upon a local flamenco club in Seville, Aiden is befriended by Rafael Flores and Carla Armando, a famous flamenco couple who are well-known for their fiery performances both on and off the stage. With ancestral links to the famous gypsy flamenco dancer Carmen Amaya, Rafael and Carla have mysterious Romani culture coursing through their veins. Sensing Aiden’s love of adventure, they invite him on a road trip from the Costa Del Sol to Granada in search of Carla’s true Romani gifts. However, as the trip stretches deeper into less traveled emotional geography, long-kept secrets are exposed.

Brimming with gypsy traditions, the passion of the dance, mysterious rune readings and intrigue, Aiden finds he cannot escape his destiny no matter how far he runs.

Reader advisory: this erotic contemporary romance contains a rugged hero, feisty heroine and troubled lover with red hot dance and sex scenes

Diane dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

Having been a professional dancer, choreographer and director, I wanted to give readers an insight into the world of dance through my erotic romances in the Dance of Love series. Dance to a Gypsy Beat is the third book in the series and is set in Andalucía, Spain. I included much more suspense and mystery in this story, so there’s lots of twists and turns as not everyone is who they seem to be. And as is my signature in the Dance of Love series, the serendipitous hand of the divine feminine is there helping the heroine … this time in the runes. Every rune thrown in the story is the rune I threw in my office while writing the book. Dance to a Gypsy Beat also ties in the first two books of the series, Dancing Queen and Tiny Dancer, with an unexpected thread, that even I didn’t expect. Filled with hot dance and sex scenes, I think this book sizzles.

You can find out more about this book at Diane’s website or buy it from Amazon.

To celebrate the release of Dance to a Gypsy Beat, Diane is giving away five autographed copies of Dancing Queen (book 1, Dance of Love)—details on her website.
