ARRA newsletter #72
The July issue of the ARRA newsletter is out today. Members should have received the download code via email.
Over the past few months the Executive Committee has been working on ways ARRA can encourage more reader members. The lead article on reader engagement is all about how we plan to do this. It’s a long article, but worth a read to find out how you can join in.
We have also written a Code of Conduct for ARRA events. You can find details, including a draft of the code, on pages 6-7. We would welcome your feedback.
This month we have a wrap-up on the recent Australian Voices in Print book tour, plus a special interview with Jane Porter. And of course all our regulars: tracking trends (this month discussing serialised fiction), the romance roundup, plus news, reviews and author interviews.
For Melbourne members—we are still looking for volunteers to help out at the signing event in Melbourne in August (see page 4).
For Sydney-siders—don’t forget about the free tickets for Book Expo in October (see page 6).
If anyone has any publishing news, or deals to report, please send information through to us. And we are also looking for authors to do a Q&A for the newsletter. If you haven’t done one yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
P.S. Tickets for the signing event have also gone on sale today! You can get one here: http://www.trybooking.com/139221
Happy reading everyone!
