Release day: A Tender Deception

1 May 2015

Today is the official release of A Tender Deception by Sandy Curtis (ebook, Ormiston Press). Here’s the blurb:

A Tender DeceptionWhen she opens the door of her beach house and a man falls, unconscious, into her arms, Emma Richmond thinks he has survived an accident at sea. But she soon discovers his wounds are bullet wounds, and finds it hard to believe his explanation for them.

Nick Marshall – dynamic, enterprising, a driven man whose private life is exactly that – is a man with secrets.

Struggling with the guilt caused by the death of her estranged husband, a man whose abuse and infidelities failed to break her spirit, Emma is shocked by the desire Nick stirs within her. The last thing she needs is the compelling attraction she feels for this man, who, although he tries to control his physical desire for her, is adamant he will leave as soon as his wounds heal.

Secrets. Lies. Can love conquer their terrible legacy?

Sandy dropped by today to tell us little about this book:

Although this contemporary romance is a change from the romantic thrillers I usually write, I’m hoping readers will take Emma and Nick into their hearts. Wounded by life and love, they must find the courage to come to terms with the past and fight for a future together. The power of love and the resilience of the human spirit shine through in Nick’s and Emma’s story. The road to their ‘happily ever after’ isn’t easy, but it’s the strength they gain through adversity that gives them the courage to believe and trust in each other. I hope you love their story.

You can find out more about this book at Sandy’s website and buy it at Ormiston Press.
