This story has been a long time coming. I came up with the idea quite a few years ago at a Romance Writers of Australia conference and was thrilled as it had so many features I adore: a powerful hero who thinks he knows exactly what he wants and is used to getting his own way without fail. A feisty heroine who hides her vulnerability by standing up for her dreams and her professional goals no matter how daunting the odds. An ugly duckling element that made my heroine so appealing. A touch of mystery. A lot of intense passion set against romantic settings. And a bride from the harem! Sadly a few other things intervened and it took a while to write this, the first in my Desert Vows duet. But the wait was worth it. I adore this story and I’m thrilled that it’s on sale now for you to enjoy. I hope you do!
