Once Upon a BrideOnce Upon a Bride by Helen Lacey

Gabe Vitali has moved from America to Crystal Point in Australia, a beachside town. He has given up his career and left his loving family behind. He has a five-year plan, including no commitments, especially falling in love. He cannot promise anything at the moment. He has a job at the local surf club and has made some very good friends in the town and bought a house that he intends to renovate then sell. But things change when he meets his next door neighbour after offering to help mind his friend’s dog while he is on his honeymoon.

Lauren Jakowski runs the bridal shop in town and she has decided that after losing someone she loved and then a broken marriage that love is not for her. When she marries again it will be for companionship and friendship not love or passion. Of course that may change when she gets to know her neighbour a lot better, even after the embarrassing moment at her brother’s wedding.

This is a great story, heart-warming and very beautiful as two people who have been through so much learn to trust and understand that love and passion are what both of them need. The spark between them is so strong, it is not long before they cannot ignore it anymore and of course with family and friends helping they have a wonderful HEA. This is a story not to be missed.
