Lessa dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

Some first loves are meant to be forever. But fate has a way of changing the path, challenging you until you find your way back to each other. Do you remember the power of love, at eighteen? How every emotion is intensified. Jardine captures the raw essence of true love, adding the spice of a famous cricket player and a sassy heroine. I love sport, and since summer was approaching fast I decided it was a perfect time to write about a cricket player. Simultaneously my new adult street team approached me about an anthology, so I finished writing Jardine for the anthology, Love Addiction. I am now writing the much needed sequel titled Caught OutCaught Out is about the same characters five years later. As a young, country girl I was completely in love with Australia’s gentlemen’s game. I was also intrigued by Douglas Jardine, known for his bodyline tactics in the 1930s. My hero’s father had an obsession with Douglas Jardine so he named his son after the famous cricket player. When a father is that passionate about sport and determined to help his talented son reach his potential, he’ll make sure noting stands in the way. Certainly not a young girl who doesn’t understand his son. Ava, wants nothing more than to follow her own dreams while helping her boyfriend achieve his. When their future becomes uncertain, and her dreams are forced to change, she makes sure that the only person’s dream that is ruined is her own. Ava takes drastic measures to protect her boyfriend, even if it means sacrificing her own future, for a dream they both wanted but only one will be granted. Book one Jardine is part of the new adult anthology, Love Addiction. Book two Caught Out will be released early 2015.
