Release day: Haunted Ever After

1 September 2014

Today is the official release of Haunted Ever After by Juliet Madison (ebook, Escape Publishing). Here’s the blurb:

Haunted Ever AfterMixing romance, humour and a sparkle of magic, Juliet Madison is back with a new full-length novel about a bride-to-be, a mystery and the stripper next door.
When bride-to-be Sally Marsh attends a weekend away with her bridesmaids, the last thing she expects is an uninvited guest: the ghost of her fiancé’s ex-girlfriend.

Red is quirky, loud and distracting, and Sally is soon desperate to find the reason behind her presence, so she can rid herself of her embarrassing shadow before the wedding day. Unfortunately, the ghost is reluctant to share the reason for her existence, but very enthusiastic about Ty, the surprise hen’s night stripper who keeps showing up at awkward moments.

Time is running out for Sally, but it’s also running out for Red. By the time all is revealed, Sally will be tested to the limits, and go above and beyond everything she’s ever believed in order to ensure not only her own happy-ever-after – but Red’s as well.

Juliet dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

I had so much fun writing this story. There were lots of interesting possibilities to consider around having a ghost and a stripper as characters. The main character, bride-to-be Sally, has to get through her hen’s weekend without her friends catching on that she is being haunted by her fiance’s ex, but at least there is the distraction of having stripper, Ty around to keep the bridesmaids occupied. He lives near where they are staying in a country guest house, and finds himself taking on more than just the role of entertainer, becoming a crucial part of the story and the mystery within it. I also loved writing the conflict between these two opposite characters – prim and proper Sally, and confident, outgoing Ty. I hope readers enjoy this fun and flirty romantic comedy!

You can find out more about this book at Juliet’s website or blog and buy it via Escape Publishing.
