Author spotlight: Nalini Singh

1 February 2013

Nalini SinghNalini Singh is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Psy-Changeling and Guild Hunter series. She has written  more than 30 books. She is also a multiple ARRA Award winner, with the Psy-Changeling series being voted Favourite Continuing Romance Series three years running. Nalini lives and works in New Zealand.

Welcome Nalini to the spotlight …

Have you attended one of ARRA’s events before?

Yes, I’ve been to a convention and also to an awards dinner. I loved interacting with readers on both occasions! Also, the atmosphere at the convention and and at the dinner was really friendly and relaxed–it was so easy to have a wonderful time.

What are you most looking forward to at ARRC2013?

Meeting readers, listening to talks by other authors, and generally having fun. 🙂

Tell us about your latest book…

I have an anthology releasing in March that’ll feature four Psy-Changeling novellas. Two are reprints (‘Beat of Temptation’ and ‘Stroke of Enticement’), but two are brand spanking new. Both of the new stories are somewhat unusual — ‘Declaration of Courtship’ features a submissive (in the hierarchy of the SnowDancer Wolf pack) as the heroine, which we haven’t seen in the series to date. And ‘Texture of Intimacy’ features an already-mated couple–we get to see what happens next for Walker and Lara. Excerpts are available for all four novellas on my website on the Wild Invitation page.

What do you have coming up next?

My next release is Psy-Changeling book #12. Everything about this book is currently shrouded in secrecy, but if you’ve been following the series, this book is a major one you don’t want to miss. This is also one book I would urge readers to read without looking at spoilers beforehand–I know it’s tough, but trust me, you’ll enjoy it so much more if you go into it not knowing what’s coming.

And in September, I have my next Guild Hunter release, featuring Elena and Raphael as main characters once more.

If you haven’t tried one of Nalini’s books yet, it is time to get started:
