Release day: Saving Grace

15 January 2013

Today is the official release of Saving Grace by Beverley Oakley (ebook, Momentum).  Here’s the blurb:

Saving GraceIt’s 1874 and London’s most beautiful and hard-hearted prostitute, Grace Fortune, is preparing for her next job.

She’s the special initiation ‘gift’ procured by a mother in fashionable Mayfair for her son’s twenty-first birthday.

When Grace discovers she is to be servicing the man whose secret she’d guarded at the cost of her once-secure position as a housemaid and whose betrayal has plunged her into this hated life, she wants revenge.

That is, until the re-emergence of malevolent forces that destroyed the couple’s young love. Now David and Grace must reconcile the past and fight for a different kind of justice to salvage their dignity and find happiness.

Beverley dropped by to tell us a little about this book:

Revenge and redemption are recurring themes in my erotic romances and romantic intrigues. In Saving Grace I’ve explored the shifting balance of power between two rich men and a vulnerable serving girl with a shared history. The story takes up at the point at which justice must be served.

You can find out more on Beverley’s website, or buy this book at Amazon.

All ARRA members who comment on this post will go in the draw to win an an e-copy of The Cavalier, an erotic English Civil war romance about a Puritan woman whose castle is besieged by her former Cavalier lover.  The giveaway closes on 5 February 2013. (The winner was Kaetrin)

Happy release day, Beverley. “Saving Grace” sounds like a wonderful story.

How fabulous that you found a corset like the one on the cover! And a 20 inch waist? Go girl!

Sure, I could squeeze into one of those 😉 I’d look like a Rubens. But hey, DH sees voluptuous 🙂 Bless him.

Thanks everyone. To celebrate (when I first got the brilliant cover) I bought a corset that’s almost identical from, a great UK company. My husband thought it was a fab idea and got right into lacing me into achieving – honestly – a 20″ waist which anyone can in fact get with a corset like that! Or is that too much information and the wine talking?
