Lady Jane’s Salon™ co-founder Hope Tarr is the award-winning author of nearly twenty historical and contemporary romances for multiple publishers including Operation Cinderella, the launch to her ‘Suddenly Cinderella’ contemporary fairytale-themed romance series with Entangled Publishing. Hope lives in Manhattan, NY, USA where she runs the original Lady Jane’s Salon™ in Soho.

Today it is Hope’s turn under the spotlight …

What are you most looking forward to at ARRC2013?

The people! As a Romance Writers of America member since 1997, I’ve been enormously impressed by the warmth, savvy, and good cheer of the Australian authors and readers who travel to the annual national RWA conference in the States, as well as to the RT BOOK Lovers Convention. I am very much looking forward to visiting ‘you’ this time around and to experiencing a romance conference ‘Australian’ style. 🙂

What are you most looking forward to doing while you are in Australia?

I plan to visit not only Brisbane but also Sydney and Melbourne. In Sydney, I am looking forward to touring the Opera House. While in Melbourne, the penguin parade on Phillip Island feels like a must-stop. As for anything to do with zip lines, hmm, we’ll … see. 🙂

Tell us about your latest book…

The launch for my ‘Suddenly Cinderella’ series with Entangled Publishing, Operation Cinderella (October, 2012) is an urban fairytale set in modern day Manhattan where I now live and Washington, DC where I lived and attended graduate school. Abetted by uber-cool fairy god friends and princess-worthy vintage red stilettos, a goth girl magazine editor brushes with a conservative radio talk show host when she goes undercover as his housekeeper and must choose between scoring her tell-all news story and Happily Ever After.

What do you have coming up next?

I have a winter holiday novella and two additional books out in February and June 2013.

If you haven’t tried Hope’s books yet, here’s what to look for:
