Release day: Until the Stars Burn Cold

20 September 2012

Today is the official release of Until The Stars Burn Cold by Nicóle Hurley-Moore (ebook, Pink Petal Books).  Here’s the blurb:

Forbidden love in ancient Persia.

In the town of Adwan, Jinn loves the beautiful Shuri. But the lovers are not destined to be together, as she is promised to another. In a desperate bid, they attempt to flee the city but they are caught and torn apart. For daring to love the wrong woman, Jinn is cursed into a ring. Ages pass and empires crumble… yet Jinn is still a captive of the ring. Forever bound in a circle of frozen silver. Bound that is, until present day antiques dealer, Mia Templeton accidentally releases him. Jinn is increasingly drawn to Mia as she is beautiful, kind and somehow familiar. Is love eternal and evil everlasting? Can the power that destroyed his life in Adwan, reach through the centuries and threaten his future? Will Jinn ever be truly free?

Nicóle dropped by today to tell us a little about this book:

Until the Stars Burn Cold is a paranormal romance. The idea started when I found a picture of a silver ring in the shape of a man. Maybe I read A Thousand and One Nights too many times as a child, but all of a sudden a story about star-crossed lovers, cursed rings and old magic materialised. The story starts in ancient Persia and ends in modern day rural Australia. Jinn is ripped from his lover’s side to be cursed into a ring. He is bound for centuries until Mia, an antique dealer, accidentally releases him. He is given a second chance at life, perhaps even love. But the evil that once imprisoned him still lingers in the modern world and it desires to vanquish him forever. Until the Stars Burn Cold is filled with magic, curses and the idea of love being everlasting. I loved writing this story and I hope the readers enjoy it!

Hi Nicole, the books sounds great – sort of a hunk in a ring rather than a genie in a bottle. Love the thought of a love surviving the ages and getting a second chance. Good luck with it.
