11 February 2012

After drawing some more door prizes, it was straight on to the second lot of award announcements. Here they are:

The Favourite Historical Romance of 2011 is Midnight’s Wild Passion by Anna Campbell. Thank you to the sponsors of this award, Rosemary’s Romance Books and Temptation the Romance Bookstore. The award was presented by Rosemary Potter from Rosemary’s Romance Books and accepted by Anna Valdinger from HarperCollins Australia on behalf of Anna Campbell.

The Favourite Contemporary Romance of 2011 is A Lot Like Love by Julie James. Thank you to Romantic Reflections for sponsoring this award. The award was presented by Mary Katsikas from Romantic Reflections and accepted by Sarah Calder on behalf of Julie James.

The Favourite Erotic Romance of 2011 is The Lone Warrior by Denise Rossetti. Thank you to Romance Direct for sponsoring this award. At the request of Jill from Romance Direct, a member of the audience was chosen to present this award on her behalf. Presenting the award was Trish Springsteen. Accepting the award on behalf of Denise was Debbie Jay.

Time for us all to enjoy our main course: Eye fillet steak, potato gratin, sautéed mushrooms, Béarnaise sauce OR Corn fed rosemary chicken breast served with risotto cake, steamed asparagus and fine tomato basil sauce with a hint of chilli. I’m sure we will enjoy.

Following main will be our special guest speaker, Paula Roe, so look for the last lot of winner announcements at about 10.00 pm.

ARRA members – don’t forget to leave a comment to go in the draw to win one of the two book prizes.
